This can only be used with apple products such as iPad, iPod etc. It can be sued with a computer via the bluetooth.

Regarding the bluetooth, this should work properly, maybe check if the two devices are too far apart.

If this is not the case, please visit the store again as there might be a fault in the bluetooth connection on the device. You have 90 days return and 2 year guarantee.

This operates on a mains adaptor you plug in to your socket 230 - 240 V, 50-60 Hz. The remote control has a battery CR2025. The speaker system has good speakers and plays music well.
