Take it one step further
Runners who want more features can create customised interval sessions and analyse their pace for each individual session. With the foot pod you can gauge your cadence or steps per minute by uploading your data up to our Garmin Connect website.
Follow your heart
There are five heart rate zones to adapt to your own exact zones. You can also programme it for heart rate alerts for notifying you if you are over or under your target rates. Calorie computations allow you to accurately track the amount of calories burned.
Indoors or out
Using the best user friendly functions from the Forerunner 110, we’ve added some indoor functions to the 210 that make it a sports watch loaded with options. For outdoor runs GPS is used to correctly record your time, pace and distance. To track the same data at the gym, snap on the foot pod (not included) onto your shoe and you’re good to go. Using advanced accelerometer technology, the foot pod collects and sends precise data about your movements, gathering distance and speed data that is 98% accurate for most users, right out of the box.
For further options the Forerunner 210 can even be used together with other indoor fitness equipment like treadmills and exercise bikes so that you can track and store data from these sources too. This allows you to compare your indoor and outdoor workouts so that you can continually track your progress.
Store, analyse and share
Whether you’re training for a race or launching a healthier lifestyle, you’ll love the motivation that comes from reviewing your workouts online. Tracking your data is simple with Garmin Connect for free data analysis and sharing. Just upload to Garmin Connect from your PC or Mac, then view the route you travelled on a map, view a summary of your workout data, create goals and more. For indoor activities when the GPS isn’t in use, you won’t see mapping in Garmin Connect, but you’ll still have a record of your workout data.
